Holiday Schemes 2010:
OCRA holiday programme will include some or all of the following:

 

  • Sport and Art Days
  • Challenging Events
  • Horse Riding
  • Woodland Adventure
  • Mountain Bike trailing through Abbeyford Woods
  • Sport and Art sessions in the villages
  • Sport specific camps - for example cricket, football, athletics, basketball, rugby, tennis and netball are sopme of the camps we have offered in the past.



OCRA offer a diverse programme of activities in the holidays for 6-18 year olds.

HALF DAY MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL IN ABBEYFORD WOODS
Ride and follow the trails through Abbeyford Woods and enjoy the challenges of riding off road. All equipment and bikes provided. You will be accompanied by qualified and fun YHA staff.

SPORT & ART DAYS for 6-14 years

Very popular days that offer a wide range of choices run from 10-3
Come and join in  SPORTS & OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES -Football, Trampolining, Multiskills, Hockey, Archery, Netball,Tennis, Assault Course, Cycling, Squash, Basketball, Circus Skills, Climbing, Dance etc
ART – Clay, Collage, Mask Making, Multi-media, painting, beads, natural sculpting & much much more

SPORT & ACTIVITY CAMPS –different age groups

A whole day of one activity with specialist coaches which will include developing and learning new skills, games, competitions and FUN


HORSE RIDING ON DARTMOOR – 10-18 years

Ride for an hour across beautifull Dartmoor. When you get back, help to put your horse in their stable, untack and brush down.

OCRA WOODLAND ADVENTURE 8-16 years

Come and build shelters from natural materials-follow woodland trails-cook on a campfire-try environmental art and kayak on the lake. Spend the morning in the woods doing a range of outdoor skills followed by lunch. The afternoon is spent on Alder Lake kayaking and environmental art.


WATER ACTIVITY DAY 10-18 years

Come sailing in the morning,canoe and raft build in the afternoon

OUTREACH SESSIONS 6-16 years
2 hour Sport, Play & Art Sessions in local towns and villages
