Okehampton Indoor Cricket League - 2012

After a successful pilot competition this year OCRA are going to run an INDOOR CRICKET COMPETITION to start in March

WE NOW HAVE 6 TEAMS ENTERED IN THE ACTIVE VILLAGES -ADULT INDOOR CRICKET 6-A- SIDE LEAGUE 2012

They are:
Okehampton
Hatherleigh
Lewdown
Bridestowe
Belstone
Chagford

Games will be on Thursday evenings at either
6.15-7.15
7.15-8.15
8.15-9.15

Start date is the 15th March

INDOOR 6-A- SIDE CRICKET IS A FAST & EXCITING GAME THAT GETS ALL PLAYERS INVOLVED

Each team can bat for up to 10 overs
Everybody bowls 1-3 overs (except The keeper)
Batsman retire on 25 –but can re-enter
Fielding and Running are key in the limited space

IT’S A GREAT GAME TO SHARPEN UP SKILLS BEFORE THE SEASON BEGINS.

Games will take place in the Old Sportshall at Okehampton College on a Wednesday evening.
Game slots will be 6.15-7.15, 7.15-8.15 & 8.15-9.15
Cost will be £16 a team per game
Teams will need to provide somebody who can umpire and score.
Players can only play for 1 team - Because of the intensity of the game we are making the league for players 15 years of age and above & ADULTS

We already have interested teams -please register your interest with OCRA.

There are limited places and we will have to allocate places on a first come first served basis
